Dignity Party<\/h2>\n

Freerange worked with Kelly Vincent, a South Australian senator, and the Dignity for Disability party that she led. In 2016 we helped rename and rebrand them to Dignity Party, as their focus expanded to equality and inclusion for all. We also created websites for Kelly and the party and helped them with campaign and fundraising creative for the 2018 state election.<\/p>\n

Running the most significant campaign in their young history, and with a groundswell of popular support, their efforts fell agonisingly short as the numbers just didn’t quite come together to re-elect Kelly. Truly a loss to South Australia’s parliament and culture.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

Adelaide Festival of Ideas<\/h2>\n

The AFoI is Australia’s original ideas festival. Founded way back in 1999, we’d built a website for the 2013 event and jumped at the chance to support the 2016 festival in a much expanded role. A clever new logo, the festival look and feel, poster, program and website \u2014 all Freerange, all bold and provocative.<\/p>\n

We went on to do it all again for the 2018 festival and we’ve been supporting them ever since, never giving up hope that the festival will one day return.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

SAHMRI Vision 5000<\/h2>\n

We’d created the corporate site for SAHMRI \u2014 South Australia’s flagship medical research institute \u2014 a couple of years earlier, and in 2016 we got to work on the SAHMRI Windows project. The building has 15,000 triangular windows, and SAHMRI came to us with the idea of selling them. Not literally, of course \u2014 they’d only just finished building the place.<\/p>\n

We recognised this could become something more than a fundraiser. Rather than just buy a window and stick your name on it, we created a site where people could dedicate a window to the memory, or in recognition, of a loved one who had inspired them.<\/p>\n

Exploring the building and reading the dedications people shared was poignant, emotional and inspiring. Fifteen thousand windows, each one a story.<\/p>\n

B Corp since 2016<\/h2>\n

Yes, we’ve been a B Corp<\/a> for a decade now.<\/p>\n

After declaring that we were going to be a Digital Agency for Good, we had to figure out exactly what that meant \u2014 and how we could prove it. Luckily, Hub Adelaide and our hubmates Ecocreative were already B Corps, so we got to see firsthand how this accreditation could help us align our actions with our goals, attract the best staff (see next story), and demonstrate to our clients that we walk the walk.<\/p>\n

Three recertifications later, we’re still being Bs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

Alicia joins the team<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s true, Alicia joined Freerange way back in 2016. Our Head of Marketing has been a Freeranger for a decade. Marketing genius and teammate extraordinaire, her arrival marked the beginning of our successful expansion into all thing marketing and fundraising, the third service area we offer today alongside Brand and Digital.<\/p>\n
